In 2018, Broken Promises ventured into the afterlife with an unforgettable Murder Mystery Dinner held in Portland, Oregon. While the event took place in a historic mansion that may or may not have been super haunted, co-owners Jason Rotramel and Mandee Bence had a few surprises up their sleeves for their top fans to enjoy—including a sneak peek at an upcoming drop!
A Night to Remember
The night was filled with captivating activities designed to enthrall and entertain. Guests were treated to a tarot card reader, a magician, and an exclusive sneak peek at an upcoming drop. The atmosphere was electric, as guests mingled and immersed themselves in the mysterious and enchanting ambiance. The event was beautifully captured and edited by the talented Emonee LaRussa, whose work brought the night's magic to life. A Milestone Collaboration
This event also marked a significant milestone for Broken Promises—our first collaboration with Zumiez . As Owner Mandee Bence explains,
"Partnering with Zumiez allowed us to reach new audiences and create a truly memorable experience for all attendees. The synergy between the two brands was evident throughout the night, setting the stage for future collaborations."
One of the highlights of the evening was the exclusive sneak peek at our Beetlejuice collaboration with Warner Bros. Animation. Rotramel shared the excitement behind the collaboration, saying,
"We reached out to them (Warner Brothers). We really wanted to do Beetlejuice because it's a cult classic. It's one of our all-time favorite movies."
Guests at the event were the first to witness the bold, edgy designs inspired by the iconic film. From graphic tees to hoodies, each piece captures the spirit of Beetlejuice while staying true to the rebellious essence of Broken Promises.
