GENERAL QUESTIONS
Welcome to the Broken Promises community. Broken Promises is a lifestyle brand created by Mandee Bence (@mandeebence) and Jason Blake (@jasonpromises) that allows people to express their feelings by wearing them when sometimes it's hard to talk about them. We use relatable phrases, concepts and themes that all tie back to emotions.
We drop a new collection every Saturday at 8 AM PST. The new drop is posted each Thursday on our instagram @brokenpromisesco. All items are unisex unless stated otherwise. If you download the official Broken Promises Co app on Apple App store or Google Play, you can shop each collection early, starting every Friday night at 8 PM PST.
Almost all collections are limited drops, meaning that once they are sold out, they'll never return again. With items that have a high volume of requests, we do sometimes restock based on demand. Otherwise, we encourage you to shop each Saturday to ensure you can get the items while they're in stock!
Sorry, we do not allow any cancellations because our shipments are handled by automated external fulfillment services. If you entered a wrong address, or ordered the wrong size, please contact us immediately at orders@brokenpromisesco.com so we can attempt to change your order before it has shipped. If your order has already been assigned a tracking number, we cannot make any changes to the order. If you decide you no longer want one of the items, we offer easy returns on most items within 30 days. To initiate a return or exchange, just go to http://returns.brokenpromisesco.com.
All of our items are unisex unless stated otherwise. Generally, they are based on a mens’ fit, but intended for all genders to wear, except for the items listed under the womens’ category, which are based on a female fit, but can also be worn by all genders.
Model images are usually shown size L on male models and size M on female models, with the exception of items in the womens' category, which may range from XS-XL sizes.

We don't have any influencer programs at the moment, but you can always tag us in your photos @brokenpromisesco - we love to repost our favorites, and we may reach out to you directly to arrange gifting or collaborative posts.
Returns
To start a return, enter your order number and either your zip code or email in our Returns Portal. From there, you'll be able to choose a refund, exchange, gift card, or even use your credits to Shop Now for a different item. Typically, most items are returnable within 30 days, with some exceptions. See our return policy for more info. If you're returning something that was gifted to you, click "Start Gift Return Here." If you received something damaged, please do not return a damaged item, instead, Report an Issue.
All phone cases are final sale because they are made-to-order. Due to the increasing amount of different phone models, making products on-demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions! Since your phone case is made and printed just for you, it can't be returned. Please be careful to choose the correct model of phone case when you place your order. If you have ordered a wrong phone case, please contact us immediately by email to see if the order can be updated. Unfortunately, if our vendor has already started printing your case, the order cannot be changed at that point. If you received a damaged phone case, or we sent you a case that is different from the item you ordered, please contact us at orders@brokenpromisesco.com.
Shop Now option: Instant! As soon as you put your return package in the mail, that will trigger your new item to be shipped out right away.
Exchange for a different size: About 1 week. As your returned item(s) arrive at our warehouse, your new item will be dispatched automatically. This usually takes about 2-7 days.
Store Credit: About 1 week. As soon as your returned item(s) arrive at our warehouse is marked delivered, your store credit will be automatically generated and sent to you by email. This usually takes about 2-7 days.
Refunds: Up to 2 weeks or longer
- Once you have submitted a return and shipped it out, it may take 1-5 business days for the package to arrive in our warehouse. (Please note, USPS does not deliver on weekends or holidays.)
- After the package has arrived in our warehouse, your return tracking will show as “delivered.”
- Once the package is marked “delivered,” it may take an additional 2-10 business days for our team to receive, process, and issue your return. Please note, our team does not work on weekends or holidays.

Shipping
Most of our products are shipped from Southern California. Some categories outside of clothing, including Phone Cases and Room, may be shipped from various other locations, and arrive separately from the rest of your order. Certain collaborations, especially those with bands and artists, may be shipped from the artist's facility, which may vary by product.
Orders may take up to 7 days to process. Please note, any shipping estimates provided at checkout are transit time only, and do not include processing time. Please allow up to 7 days for your order to leave our building, although most orders will be processed within 1-2 days. After you've received a notification that your order has been shipped, then transit time starts.
Please note that we ship from multiple locations and you may receive more than one package. Phone cases ship on their own from a separate facility. We do not ship on weekends or holidays.
Please allow up to 1 weeks from ship date for your delivery to arrive (USA SHIPPING ONLY). If you still have not received your purchase after 1 week of your shipment confirmation (USA), please notify orders@brokenpromisesco.com and provide your order number.
Please note that special projects such as BAND COLLABORATIONS may be shipped from an external merch company with different processing times.
The shipping method you chose at checkout will be used to ship your items. We are not responsible for delayed shipments and Broken Promises does not refund shipping fees for delayed shipments. We offer Order Protection by default to guarantee that your order arrives in a timely manner. Order Protection can assist you if your order does not arrive on time. If you choose to "Opt-Out" of this service by removing it from your cart, Broken Promises is not responsible for delayed, lost, stolen or damaged packages.
Missing an item:
Broken Promises ships from multiple warehouses. Please note that if you ordered more than one item, you may receive more than one package. If you received a package that is missing an item, please be patient as there might be another package on the way. If you are still concerned about a missing item after a few days, please contact us and our support team will be happy to help! Email us at orders@brokenpromisesco.com.
Missing a package:
Broken Promises is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We offer Order Protection at checkout, which is automatically added to your order, and ensures you that all packages arrive safely. This service can assist you with providing a reshipment or refund if your package is lost, stolen, or missing.
If you choose to Opt Out of shipping protection, Broken Promises is not responsible for any undelivered packages and we are unable to refund you for a missing shipment.
Other
CALIFORNIA SALES TAX REGULATIONS
Some states charged tax based on the destination, and other states charge tax based on the origin. California is a state that charges tax based on the origin, so since we’re shipping from California and our business address is in California we collect and pay taxes according to our state laws, no matter where we ship to. This is required by law.

Brokenpromisesco.com is our only direct-to-customer website. We also sell to other retailers, including Zumiez and zumiez.com. If you find another website that looks like ours, please don't trust it. There are scammers out there who replicate our products, and will try to steal your money. We can't confirm the validity of any other products except the ones we sell on our own website and some boutiques/retailers.
